Operation Dress Code relies entirely on dedicated volunteers, in-kind donations and community partners. We need your support.
Donate Clothing & Accessories
We believe every article of clothing, accessory, handbag, pair of shoes and jewelry are given with love and received with joy. We rely on community donations of new or gently used items to fill the pop-up boutique with quality items of all shapes, sizes and tastes to appeal to our diverse women military population.
Prior to each Operation Dress Code Boutique event, we host a two-week donation drive where we place our pink donation bins around the community to make the process as convenient as possible for people to drop off their donations.
Businesses or professional offices may also choose to host their own internal collection drives and drop off the clothing at one of our designated locations. Check our Events Page for more information on specific times and locations.
Donate Services
Have a special skill? We need you! Our entire program is volunteer-based and we always need people with special talents. Whether it’s offering hairstyling, makeup application, photography, or personal shopping assistance, we need volunteers to provide the services. We also appreciate volunteers or interns who are interested in graphic design and social media campaigns. Have a different skill you want to offer? Let us know!
Event Volunteers
For many people, the most rewarding volunteer experience is to participate in the actual Dress Code event. We create our pop-up boutique in ONE day, which means we need a small army to transition an empty conference center into our beautiful boutique. We need assistance hanging clothes, unpacking accessories and arranging the room to provide a high-quality shopping experience. Our women veterans deserve the best and we work to provide them with the most nurturing, supportive and empowering environment possible.
We also need volunteers to help break down the boutique and neatly pack away the remaining items so they can be stored for the next Dress Code event.
Corporate Sponsorships
Corporate sponsors are essential to our success. While all boutique items are donated and volunteers provide the services, hosting the event can be expensive. We must cover the venue rental fees, clothing racks, dressing rooms, marketing, signage, rental vans and storage space, among other hard costs. We offer many sponsorship levels and are eager to create packages that fit individual budgets and goals. Let us know if you’d like to collaborate!
